Flora Europaea perennial, H, 2n=32, tetraploid xeric steppe species also frequently petrophile west Pontic Festucion rupicolae, Pimpinello-Thymion zygioidi R34 habitats from Dobrudja, Moldavia and Curvature Subcarpathians         This subspecies is the eastern replacer of A. vesicarius L. from Central Europe in the western Pontic steppes (though however rare populations of typical A. vesicarius exist in the steppes of Ukraine as revealed by Flora USSR and found by L.
